Romania, the largest Country in Southeastern Europe, bordered by the Ukraine, Republic of Moldova, The Danube, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungry. These photographs range from Bucharest, Rasnov, Sighisoara and Brasov in the Transylvanian Alps.

Something i noticed upon reaching the top of Mount Tampa, i was met by what only could be described as a scene from a medieval movie. Mysterious streams of mist danced around the rooftops of Brasov, cradled in a huddle, surrounded by the Transylvanian Hills. I could hear the jackals call piercing the silence along with my camera’s shutter button. Breath taking and beautiful, i gazed in awe. But my romantic overactive imagination was soon brought to a halt, when i was informed by a fellow hiker, that the mist was actually smoke from leaves and rubbish burning from every available space the locals could commandeer. I realize that is done out of necessity  but surely there has to be a better way than adding to Greenhouse Gases.
